‘Brain Emergency’ Premier Screening and Benefit Auction, Nov 11, 2008!

‘Brain Emergency’ is an educational documentary on brain aneurysms produced by an Emmy award winning production team. It is a compelling documentary combining life-saving medical information with inspiring personal stories, hosted by popular New York television news anchor Kaity Tong and California neurologist Dr. Rick Atkinson. For more information about the ‘Brain Emergency’ documentary, click here.

On November 11, 2008 TAAF will be hosting a Premier Screening of ‘Brain Emergency’ at the Letterman Digital Arts Center in the San Francisco Presidio. We will host a cocktail reception prior to the screening with a benefit auction to include prizes such as a trip for 2 to New York City! Click here for a full listing of auction items.

Click here for information about sponsorship opportunities, or to make an in-kind donation to support the benefit auction. Or email us at info@taafonline.org.

Proceeds from this charity event will fund the public awareness efforts and research supported by TAAF. Specifically, our goal is to raise $50,000 to support a 2009 Research Grant. In 2008 we were able to provide funding for a project that is investigating new 3-D imaging techniques that will help predict which aneurysms and vascular malformations are more likely to grow or rupture.  This will enable more effective monitoring and treatment of blood vessel diseases in the brain. With your support, we will be able to continue to fund worthwhile research projects such as this next year.

By viewing this film, you may save your own life or that of a loved one.  By supporting this event you will help save the lives of others.
